Hi Steve... glad you are happy with the Borlas.... the two web-sites which George has identified are the two places I got my parts from.

And you know I am very happy with the results.

You will probably never want to hear your CD player again while driving - I still love listening to that "just perfect" rumble of the Borlas.

    Happy motoring !!

I guess the next step is the air intake...was checking and K&N don't make one for the 2002's or am I wrong? Any advice to what type to get? Tru-Rev?

Might be prudent to tell them how you want the Borla logo centered and matching on each side. I had a bit of a problem with my recent install, on the passenger side - required some torch work to reform the pipe - it wanted to sit about 2 inches off center. The driver side fell into place perfectly.

OK, I will fess up now. In November 05 I stated the Inca would stay with the factory exhaust. In the Fall of '08 I was missing the sound that the '03 has and they were just sitting in the garage so I had them installed. Both the '03 Torch Red and '05 Inca Gold have Borlas. Please add the Inca to my name on the list. Thank you!

They quoted $180.00 to install...I will see tomorrow if that is right.

Put Borlas on my 2005 this spring. Really like the sound. I did remove the little nub as I did not like the tips sticking out so far. No problems doing this.

    Thanks

Yes, Jimmy it's you. I had Spence add your name, but I think he misspelled Eldorado.

Spence, could you correct for Jimmy? Thanks.

Now, let me also add this....I do know of a couple of people who did sand down that "nubby" and shoved the pipes in further and do not hear a rattle, BUT I know of more who sanded it off and then began complaining of a rattle. Those people ended up with an additional expense of having to take their car to an exhaust shop and having that little "nubby" welded back on.
As you mentioned above, it is "your car and your choice", all I suggest is you might want to rethink pushing the pipes in further.
I too do not like advertising on the things I buy and will remove labels whenever possible, BUT you are driving a $40,000 car and the Borla name is pretty impressive and draws a lot of attention. Many people have walked past my car and read the BORLA on the tips and said "WOW, BORLA'S!".
Good luck on whatever choice you make Steve.
    Hey, Julie.

I took the picture of the two cars side by side just to illustrate how much further these new tips extend beyond where the original system does.

I can live with 'em sticking out a bit but these are just a little too in your face for me.

I'm not too worried about the heat shield and honestly I'd really like to gain the clearance at the differential housing this will provide at the same time. I'm not talking an especially big move in-ward.The heat shield really won't be a problem.

It's flexible and while I really don't expect it will be required.....I can "work it" the little bit necessary with a push of my hand (Gloved prefferably.........the edges are a little sharp, no need to end up in the emergency room for a tetanus shot here)

I'm not looking to get so far in that it will look as the stock system did. That would require a far bigger move forward than I'm looking at here. I'm looking to go in an inch at most.
