Why 694. Portholeauthority.com stated 700 007 James Bond T-Birds were built, but, Ford kept 6 of them. 700 - 6 = 694.

Over the six years that I've owned my car, I've had three different plates. My first plate was: LET IT BE, which is my favorite song of all time. My second plate was: ITS A BRD, as I'm a big Superman fan. When Illinois finally offered a plate for veterans, I got one with just my initials:

In MD the veterans plates are all issued in numerical sequence - no customization or I would have done that.

I am still thinking on it! In Ontario we can have up to 8 digits including spaces and I have 17 plates that I have thought of todate. Now the big thing is are they taken?

One that I have in mind is "GTURKIKS" (On Route 66) seing as I have made that trip once from Chicago to L.A. or as much as it was possible for us to travel in an alotted time period.

I also have a Veteran Plate on my TBird as well as my truck and 1948 Willys Jeep all three in numerical order. I think it's a shame we have to pay extra for our plates here in Indiana. I think they should give Veterans a discount instead. Leroy

I am still thinking on it! In Ontario we can have up to 8 digits including spaces and I have 17 plates that I have thought of todate. Now the big thing is are they taken?

Gord, did you know you can go to Ontario's Ministry of Transportation web-site and do a search on the availability of personal plates? You just need your driver's license number, and I think you get three tries (per day?)... check it out...

Thanks Mark, I did try to find a website that would allow me to do that! Perhaps I should look a little harder.

Hope all is well in the nation's capital and the you and Bling Bear are getting on ok. I haven't heard from him since is emmigration to Ottawa so I can only assume that he is healthy, happy and well fed to the point of being "stuffed"!
