Ours does not say anything special, but the colors of the specialty tag matches the 2002 T-bird blue perfectly. It is trimmed with a chrome plate ring. The link below is a sample image of the tag issued by Florida. As a bonus, I enjoy scuba diving too.

02-BIRD is on the 2002 Thunderbird Blue
05 BIRD is on the 2005 Bronze

This should answer a lot of questions.... but I always love to talk about my bird. This weekend in Louisville, Ky. We had the National Street Rod Convention in town. One night I took the Bronze bird topless for cruise night... Got as may yells as did the Street Rods.

The next night (Saturday) I took the '02 Thunderbird Blue out topless for cruise by the strip.... once again... I had just as many yells about the bird. Stopped to check out some of the Rods. While I was checking them out... I came back and there were about 8 people checking my bird out. Had to stay there and chat with them. Fun-Fun-Fun 'til daddy takes the T-bird away. My ring tone on the cell... Beach Boys.. my Favorite

Dave R. - Nice, surprised Ray didn't nail me on that one. Kind of bummed that CT only allows 6 letters - maybe 03DSB•T? I don't think they count the dot as a letter?

"Annie" got her name from my Ford Dealer when a service advisor said "Oh, you bought a 50th Anniversary Thunderbird." Voila! Annie. I didn't want people to think my name was Annie, or that I was driving Annie's car, so I chose SWEET T. It's how I feel about my T bird and it is the Soft Drink of Charleston, South Carolina.

there must be a dot between numbers and letters and you only get one dot per plate
