Mine is NEW_BYRD, just like my member name.

I saw an old '55 at the local car show last year with license plate "Old Bird." My Dad and I both agreed that I should try to get "New Bird." New Bird was taken but I got NEW_BYRD which is just as great!!! Couldn't believe it was available! So tomorrow, actually, we're going back to that same car show and I'm hoping to get a spot next to the Old Bird. Maybe we'll win BEST DUO!!!!!!!

....we only have one plate, here in Alberta....Inspiration Yellow attracts enough attention without a vanity plate...so it's just a standard issue.....

Hi there everyone,

Just got back from our 2 weeks visit to u.k. to visit my parents.

OK, the first choice was DAKTARI which is my name when I play out singin' and guitarin'. Unfortunately, this had already been taken by a doctor in Atlanta. I could only have it with a 1 on the end and I didn't fancy that much.

We ended up with our second choice, FLYAWAY, which I think is great for a Thunderbird and it also sums up that feeling of freedom each time we set off for a drive in it.

I recently got these specialty plates for Kokomo. This is not personalized, TXDOT assigned a number (not the one in the photo). I chose the eagle design because it is patriotic and because as a kid, I was a boy scout. I have also been told that according to native American lore, the eagle represents man's messenger to God and the thunderbird represents God's messenger to man. The plates echo my sentiments: God Bless America!

We got our plate in 1999 after deciding we would pursue a new T-Bird after seeing it at the 1999 Chicago Auto Show. We put the plate on Connie's 96 T-Bird LX. There followed 2 years of questions such as "What does it mean on that car?". After transferring it to the '02 on November 1, 2001, we had to get another plate for Connie's car. T BIRD 96 had become available in the interim, so that plate now resides on the 96.
The stainless license frame was purchased at the July 20, 2001 Thunderbird Public Launch celebration at Ford World HQ in Dearborn.
