Another seller fraud on ebay

I've been watching this seller for months, off and on, and was in contact with the artist about it. Artist knows these are counterfeit.

Seller is advertising as the show give away poster but these are copies on glossy paper and not the original size (much smaller) that the Artist John Marsh had done. These are not the ones given away at the show. John Marsh's poster is printed on quality, heavy art paper, 24"x34" and is a matt finish, not glossy. He also signed all of his prints.

I bought one of these a few months ago. I knew it wasn't the original, but it's not a bad quality for framing and putting in the garage.

But you are right, they shouldn't advertise it as they do.

Maybe we should start an e-mail campaign every time a phony or questionable item is on e-Bay. If the hundreds or thousands of T-Nest active members would send a single question to the seller, maybe they would get the hint.....

no, they've been turned in by a previous buyer before on the same item. ebay seems to be slow reacting - extremely slow. and seller KNOWs they are not selling one of the original prints - they're making them. Seller has used that "phrase" since they started selling the print.

I sent him an e mail asking if he was sure this thing was a print or could it possibly be a copy.

Yeah, I bought one of these about a month or so ago. I was disappointed when I received it. Seller included a note indicating that it could be returned within 14 days if I was unhappy and they would refund cost of item (not shipping). It wasn't worth it to return it. It doesn't look bad and of course is not signed. Probably worth a few dollars. I figured I would give it away.

i dont know the difference, i just buy and resell and it just looks good to me however i refund to unsatisfied customer once the item is back

The copied poster is being sold again under a new ID but same MO. Just be aware it is not as advertised.
