    Re: Frustrated shopper

Hey Lynn, Do you have a favorite color? Some of us are more color conscious than others. I never thought I'd buy a Black car, if for no other reason, the heat that builds up in a black car while parked in a sunny hot area like South Carolina. But, when I saw my car with the light sand interior and the Tan convertible soft top, I changed my mind. There are also some Merlot TBirds out there with the light sand top and interior that are just gorgeous, ask anyone who owns one! I love 'em all, but unlike Jay Leno, I have to be satisfied with just one car. Also like Jay, one wife!

It is still nice to have attractive people tell you how good looking your car is. It happens all the time when you have a Thunderbird, and I never get tired of hearing it!

THat PCR I had may still be available. IT was my cousins and has only 5000 miles on it. I think the LE number in the glove box is 395. Let me know, as we're heading out to Cal this weekend and can drive it back east if you want.

There's 60 2002 to 2005 Thunderbirds on eBay at present:

                http://motors.listings.ebay.com/_Car...Q3aHPSQ3aFSRCH

I personally have bought 5 cars off of eBay (2 1963 Volkswagen Beetles, a 1925 Ford Model T, 2000 Volkswagen Eurovan, and 2004 Lincoln Navigator). All the cars had good pictures on the listing. The Eurovan and Navigator were both 1 year old vehicles when I bought them so I wasn't too concerned. With the classic vehicles, I always buy something that I can go and pickup myself over a weekend with my car hauler as I generally want to inspect them a little closer.

WOW! I've never seen so many on eBay at the same time, although some of them were listed more than once. It is still a good selection, and there was even a Neiman Marcus, which we seldom see for sale. Some good prices, too. I wonder if Lynn has found one yet?

                      Re: Frustrated shopper

I would think you could find some good deals on eBay. Especially if you e-mail the sellers and make some offers.

If you look at the completed listings, there are a lot of 02-05 Thunderbirds being listed, but not many changing hands.

                        Lynn,

I just traded my 04 Platinum Silver Bird (both tops) in on a 07 Corvette Z06. The dealer is Voss Chevrolet in Dayton, OH. It is in immaculate condition with 9300 miles. The dealer has it up for 29K and I know they would take less, since they gave me 24K on the trade. Good luck in your search.

Texasbird was found using Cars.com website. I had a great experience at the listing dealership, and have been elated with the car since the purchase.
