  • Garmin Nuvi 350 Bargain

I thought I would pass this along in case someone here is looking for a relatively nice GPS without all the bells and whistles that drives up the price. TARGET it seems is clearing this model out and are marking them down to get rid of them. I bought one at a TARGET store in Illinois on the way home from Cincinnati this week for $249.98 which is half off of the original $499.99 price. I noticed that this week's Best Buy ad in today's paper still has them for $499.99 so I figure the price is pretty darn good even if the model is being discontinued or has been replaced by the 600 series models.

If anyone is interested they should check the clearance end cap in the electronics department of their local TARGET. I couldn't pass one up for that amount. I had contemplated buying the 680 when Team Ford was offering them at a good deal. For my purposes - I'm glad I was able to save the $500 since I'd probably never figure out all the gadgetry on the new model anyway.

Good luck for those that look!

What a deal! The only difference I see between the 350 and the 360 is Bluetooth Capability.

I own a Garmin 360 and if it were not for the Bluetooth technology that I wanted, I would not have hesitated to buy the 350.
It is impossible to find the 360 in the stores anymore, the only place you can find them is on the internet, it won't be long before the 350 can only be found on the internet too.
$249.98 is a very good price and worth every penny. These units are so very user friendly that I think even a child could use them. If you are really interested in purchasing a gps, don't hesitate to purchase the 350 at this price, if Bluetooth is not one of your requirements. These Garmin GPS's are really nice to own.

That is a very good price on that model. They are all Version 7 mapping which is the outdated version, but you get one free upgrade to Version 8 from Garmin when you purchase one of their GPSs with outdated
mapping when you register your unit. That's what I did and I am very happy with my Nuvi 350

I bought mine from Costco three months ago and it came loaded with Version 8.

Hopefully, you picked one up for that great price if you needed one. I'm betting that with luck someone will end up with one for $124.99 before this is over. Since we don't have a TARGET in our little town I had to take one when I could get it and not try to wait for another round of price cuts.

                        PaBlkBrd,

Thanks for the heads up on the maps upgrade as well.

Hopefully, you are right Paul, those would make great Christmas gifts at that price.

I just wish I could be at the right place at the right time to get a few for Christmas at that price.

Paul, how far is the nearest Target? You should be able to get another discount. Your unit isn't a week old, is it?
