Has anyone put WW on a Thunderbird Blue? I have WW on my Pearl White Deville and White LeBaron and they do not look good without them, but not sure about the Blue Bird. Please post a photo if you have one or anyone got an opinion, (humble opinions accepted)

Thanks, Martin
I have seen the wide whitewalls on several colors of retrobirds, and I think they all look great. That includes Thunderbird blue! To me, this car looks incomplete without WW's

There are two points in this post that I would like to clarify.
The term Vogue, in my opinion, has two meanings. It is a brand of tire and also a "look". We do not make the Vogue brand but we do make the vogue "look". In other words, we offer white and red, white and gold, even white and blue, along with our whitewalls.
When the American Classic line first came out, we ordered one to inspect it. That particular tire was a 235/75/15. The construction of the sidewall had the whitewall protruding out just a bit. I'm not stating that the same will be the case with all American Classic sizes, but I'm willing to bet on it. Curb damage will be just as bad on them as on ours. I hate curbs just as bad as ya'll. I ruined two or three sets of my own.
If Ford doesn't fix it, it's gone (as of right now, Ford's on board, but now the dealer's being sloppy). If they do fix it, then the next set would be Vogues.
Years ago, but after my family sold the Ford dealership in Jonesboro, AR, somebody had a new white Ford car and parked it across the street from the dealership with nasty lemon signs all over it. The parking lot was a movie theater and the theater owner thought it was funny. He had a folding chair and copies of his correspondence from Ford and the local Ford dealership.
After embarrassing news coverage, his problem was resolved. I think it was bad paint. Remember the black BMW paint trial in Alabama?
What's wrong with you car? PM with details if you decide to sell.

I just received my set of DiamondBacks for my 2002 yellow TBird that also has the white hardtop. I went with the Falken tires. I must admit that they look great on the car. Had them shipped to my local tire store and they installed them for 50.00. The car handles very well with them and almost everyone notices the new look. I think my total shipped was about 1050.00 dollars. That is a lot of money but so far the new look has been worth it. I removed the Michelin's that came on the car new. They had 38,000 miles on them and the guy said I probably had about 5,000 miles left on them. I was happy with that since I am not very good about keeping tires rotated and balanced. I have cautioned my wife about the curb problem.
So it looks like we have established that the 235/55R/17's will fit our cars. Right? The only reason I would move up in size is that I think the 2" WW would look better on my Whisper White than the 1 1/2" offered with the 235/50R/17 tires....The problem would be trying to add fender skirts down the road. The bigger tires would prevent that option.....If they offered the 2" WW with the stock tires I would stay with that size....
I love my DiamondBack whitewalls. It's a very friendly, professional company, and the people there have been wonderful. I will continue to purchase tires from them.
