Union Label

I came across a 2004 Thunderbird (on a dealer lot) and as I looked at it, I noticed it still had the transparent Ford (Wixom Assembly Plant) and UAW label in the lower right corner of the windshield. I have a 2005 and after many phone calls to the union officials at the factory (just after I purchased the car) the sent me a couple of labels and I installed one on my car. I was extremely satisfied until I saw this one today on the 2004.

My question is: does anyone have such a label available? Does any of these exist that someone has removed from the car that they may let me purchase it. I am assuming that most people have removed the label from their car.......I do enjoy having the one I have as I am a union person and feel good that I purchased a car that was union made (and made in America). Ed If Wixom put them on my 04 the dealer must of removed it as i too would appreciate all unions have done for the american workforce Ed UAW 551

My 04 still has the original label on the windshield with the Ford blue oval in the center. Since its a decal, I doubt you would be able to re-use once it's removed. Somewhere a former Wixom employee probably has a roll of those decals stuck in a drawer. Good luck on your search.

It is a decal and removal distroys it for the most part. We had to replace the windshield in our 04 and even with the glass out of the car affording better access, it still tore apart.

I wonder if one of those vunyl decal places could make up a few of these? Usually all they need is a digital picture.

I doubt very much that any legit business would mess with a Union Label, regardless of the reasoning presented to them.

Neither of my Birds have such a sticker but Jake, the Mustang GT has a similar assembly plant sticker "Built With Pride by ...." on the driver's side rear glass.

Our 2003 Escape has the label, the 2002 Bird does not.
