Just to let you know I agree with you on using the octane Ford engineers suggest. It does not make any sense to me to spend the money these Tbirds cost and try and save a few cents on the gas. Especially since most of us don't drive them over 6000 miles a year maybe using 400 gallons a year at 15 mlies per gallon and paying 25 cents more for 93 octane is only going to cost $100 more for a years driving than using regular in my area.
