I would love to do the Northern New Jersey Show one of these years myslelf. Beautiful part of the country and a nice ride from central Mass. Perhaps our NE gang can work on that for next year if the date is open.....

Sounds good to me too! If the Thunderama show returns to the 3rd week in June, we could go to NJ on the second week of June and Thunderama the next week.

I'm very tempted to go since I've never been to that show!...It's going to depend if my girlfriend (Claude) works or not that weekend...:rolleyes ...we'll see...I could go alone, but it's half the fun!...

I read on another thread that you probably won't make the Long Island Show this year because of the way the show sponsors handled the show last year.

Now I see here that you might go to this show in New Jersey which is the same weekend as Thunderama in New Hampshire.

I'm not trying to steer you away from the New Jersey show, but when are you planning to see your New England buddies this year?

Wes, don't take this too bad...I'm always delighted to meet my New England buddies...but it's just that I'd really like to try to attend some shows where I've never been before...
As for the Long Island show, don't worry...it's definitely not because of all my friends...it's about the show's ORGANIZERS who came up with a new rule about being pre-registered and that wasn't written anywhere, not even on the show's flyer that pi**ed me off. It made me felt like if they didn't care if I was there or not. Because of that, I was not eligible to win anything because I did not pre-register...That's why I'm passing this show. Whew!...sorry, I vented a little bit...
But most important, you can rest assured that I look forward to meet all my T-Bird friends this year! I'm not showing interest for another show as an excuse for not being with you guys...it's just that I want to try something new, that's all!

P.S: Congratulations on your new yellow 'Bird!...Back when I bought mine, I seriously hesitated between the blue and yellow...you know the rest...

partly sunny, highs in upper 70's, 20% precip chance, sounds pretty nice Gene. I never entered a show before, since it starts at 9, I was figuring to get there at 8:30 or do you think thats too late.

Art...no need to rush, people arrive all morning. Plenty of room for parking and judging starts at noon. It's a long trip for me, so I usually arrive around ten. I'll be bringing both cars this year. See you there!

Just got back from the show. Great event! Nice meeting up with fellow 'Nesters Art and Mike. We all took away some of their hardware too! I'll post some pix later.

Kathy and I had a great time at the show yesterday. Over 104 Birds '55-'05. Mintgrn took him a 1st, which was a nice surprise at our first show. Met up with some of the crew, Gene, his daughter and Mike. Certainly a lot of beautiful Birds there.
