I could come down to Macon or Columbia, Missouri, load it and pack it on over into Springfield, Lincoln, or Bloomington, Illinois. (this is a bunch of possibles ) ?
Perhaps then Ray could drive it on into Chicago from there?

Ray and I exchanged a Top in the first relay, so we can work something out (even if I need to pick it up in his driveway)...where is the next leg after Chicago at this point?

I can get the top in Springfield, IL from Jerry, and take it to Brad. Like Brad said, this will be deja vu all over again for us. This will be my third relay.

I come down and meet her in Columbia, Missouri.
I take the top to Springfield, Illinois..... to Ray the Herd.
Ray takes it to Brad in Chicago.

From Brad the next stop is Leroy in Portage, Indiana.

I think Brad is supposed to get it to me somewhere near the Ill/Ind. state line off I-94. I told Nick I could get it into Ohio on the Turnpike. John Bakos has sent me a message and said he could take it from Toledo to Youngstown. Waiting to hear more.

Ummm, excuse me, can I say something here? Ha ha, probably not, getting too dizzy. I'll let you wonderful folks sort this thing out and I will just keep updating the pins.
I am feeling such euphoria reading everyone's thoughts and seeing how everyone is pitching in that it is hard to express my gratitude.

Just found this thread. I'm located on the eastern border of IL along I-74. If I can be of assistance, let me know. I'm very interested to see how the white top looks on an ice blue bird!

It looks like we need someone near Youngstown,OH to move the top into central PA either on the PA Turnpike or I-80. Both routes would be work for me to move it to eastern PA.

At the moment, looking at the Google map I put together, I don't see how you could be of assistance but I am not familiar with the area. I'm sure if there is a need one of the existing participants will jump in. If not, maybe you could meet up with Jerry and Ray when they trade off and check it out then.

Any experts out there that could prognosticate an approximate date of arrival to Missouri's MObird?
I have a Dr's appointment June 5th I could cancel to a later date if need be....
the Bird top is more important and sounds more fun!!

Jerry, I think the top isn't even getting to Tulsa until June 21st when (I forget who) will be attending an alumni event there.
