I have the top and it looks amazing on my PCR. I have to say I think it looks better than the light ash top that came with the car. Makes the Mist look more.......misty.
I put the strips on and they seem to work great. Will recheck and re-tighten, whatever, before taking the trip to Columbia, (home of Missouri University) MO!

My wife Barbara and I spent a wonderful Holiday weekend on Cape Elizabeth, Maine at a beautiful inn on the ocean with Bruce (TBN Bruce) and Kirsten while my Whisper White top met three more friends while visiting Branson, MO en route to Springfield, MO.
Thank you Paul for taking care of my top and getting it into Missouri.
Sorry you didn't get to try it on your Black Gary but seeing it on Ed's Black should give you a pretty good idea.
Thank you Ed for getting it up to Karen in Springfield. It was great of you to jump in at the last minute like that.
I'm glad you like how it looks on your PCR Karen. I'll reserve my thanks until I see what color Jerry leaves there with.
Have a nice trip Jerry. Hope you and Ray can have a nice visit.
We still need help between Erie or Youngstown and central Pa. If anyone in that neck of the woods could sign on it would be greatly appreciated.

1. 5/31 Vickie/Dizzbe met Charles/doubutsu from las vegas, NV at Cedar City, Utah.
2. 6/21 Charles left for event in Tulsa, Oklahoma therefor he drove the longest leg and relayed the top to Paul/2K2BIRD in Tahlequah, OK
3. 7/5 Paul transfered the top to Ed Horton mtnski who decided to enter into the Relay event while meeting up with Paul, Gary 02TBIRD and their respective spouses while in Branson, MO having a TBN friendship experience for a few days.
4. 7/6 Ed and the Whisper White met up with Karen/MObird, Springfield, MO
5. 7/8 Karen will meet up with Jerry/JBest, in Columbia, MO.
6. 7/9 or 7/10 Jerry to Ray/Ray_theherd in Lincoln, IL
7. 7/12 or 7/13 Ray to Brad in Chicago, IL
8. 7/12 or 7/13 Brad to Lawrence/Leroy, of Portage, IN somewhere near the Ill/Ind. state line off I-94
9. Lawrence to John/JAB02LHS, CLEVELAND, OH
10. John to Pat/94mcd, Huntingdon, PA

Joliet is fine. If you want to do it thursday 2:00 would work for me....can't do it earlier and any later and I will hit rush hour going into Indiana and 294 is under construction.

Anytime Friday or Sunday is fine for me (preferably not just before rush hour on Friday).

The only snag I can see is if you refuse to remove that dash kit of yours before the exchange...if it's on your car, ALL BETS ARE OFF...NO HARDTOP SWITCH!!!!!

Just switched the top with Jerry Best in Lincoln, IL. The weather here today is spectacular, and the hardtop switch went without a hitch. Although he's a visitor in my state, he insisted on buying breakfast. Other than Broom Hilda bellowing in the background, we had a wonderful conversation. Jerry is one of those guys who puts you in a good mood just being around him. We talked about getting together again in September at the Thunderbird Rendezvous in my hometown. I really hope we do. After about an hour together, Jerry headed back to Iowa and I headed home. I'm off to Joliet in the morning to meet up with Brad, who will then take the top on to Indiana.
