OK, here is the up to date data on this relay. Can't believe where it has gone in just over one week.
In addition of Karen to Jerry and Jerry to Ray:
Ray got it to Brad and on the same day Brad took it to Leroy, Thanks Brad, I hope you had time to enjoy it.
Then on the 12th Leroy gets it over to John Bakos meeting in Toledo Ohio. Wow Leroy, you went from having no top or top experience to acquiring your own top and then relaying someone elses top in just a couple of weeks. You are a T-Bird top seasoned veteran now. Thanks buddy.
Now John has it in Cleveland, Ohio. John has to get it to Pat near Huntingdon, PA, Pat to John/3rd Brd near the Poconos and John to JRM John will meet near New Jersey and bring it to Long Island. Coincidently, I will be at the Long Island event the New York folks are having next weekend and JRM John and Diane are having us to their home next Saturday for a cookout. I'm not pushing it but you never know. Anything could happen.

Yesterday, many of us from the New England Chapter attended a fundraiser to help assist those with Cystic Fibrosis. Dino / Blue Heaven presented me with a 1/18th scale model of my car painted light Ice Blue Metalic with what else but a Whisper White Top, white accent interior stainless rockers, chrome hood scoop and a ICETEA license plate. It looked fantastic sitting on my White soft top cover.
When you have a moment please click over here to view a few pictures of this beautiful model.

Here are some pictures from our trip today to Mercer. John & Sue Bakos gave your top to us (Pat & Connie Elliott). We had a nice visit. The food at Rachael's Restaurant was great. Before heading home we visited the Outlets at Grove City. I'll let you know when we work out all the details for the upcoming transfer.

Boy, that white hardtop sure looks good with the white accent headrests and visors and the white wall tires. That white hardtop still may not get to you Nicky.

Ok OK NO MORE OF THIS NICE STUFF!

BEST ADVICE I CAN GIVE YOU,
DON'T DO ANY SQUID A FAVOR
                    IT'S SURE TO INVOLVE WATER
                    !

THIS IS WHAT MY VIEW WAS FOR
3 OF THE FOUR LEGS OF MY PART OF THE RELAY!

CLEVELAND TO TOLEDO 100 MILES OF RAIN
BACK TO CLEVELAND ANOTHER 100 MILES OF MORE RAIN
CLEVELAND TO MERCER 100 MILES OF EVEN MORE RAIN
BACK TO CLEVELAND ANOTHER 100MILES FINALLY SUNNY AND 80°
                    ALL'S WELL THAT ENDS WELL.

STILL 300 MILES IN THE RAIN IN A TBIRD
IS BETTER THAN SITTING AT HOME LOOKING OUT THE WINDOW!

I DROVE 4 HUNDRED MILES TO MOVE THAT DAMN TOP 200 MILES ACROSS OHIO,AND THE ECONOMICS OF THIS, IS WHAT?

Please tell me you did not subject your beautiful bird to Rain. Tell me that is only hazy morning smoke. Least you could have done is have your wife run along side the car holding an umbrella over it. Why my wife does that for me alllllllllllllll the time. Lou

No, it got good & wet, but I always carry some luxurious bath towels so the wifey can dab not rub it dry, while I go inside and order dinner for us and enjoy a martini, she's pretty quick with the towel and can usually get it done before her dinner gets cold.

Had a great visit with Leroy and the food was good too.
Leroy can talk your ear off but it's all interesting and fun.
First time I ever saw cornbread as an apetizer, but with the crushed pecan butter it works. The Brunswick Stew with pulled pork, corn, and barbeque sauce was, well unusual. The smoked beef brisket was wonderful.

                                1. Pat & Connie, What a great couple
                                2. Front down first again
                                3. Can't you just see the "LADIES" on the upstairs porch?

Had a great time and lunch today with Pat & Connie. We had meet them before at Thunder Mountain but my mind is not the sharp tack it once was, which sometimes is a good thing, I keep meeting new friends. I got them to try deep fried pickles. and Sue talked Connie into trying the Mississippi Mud Pie. Pat had recommended the place and it was great. Nice atmosphere, and great food. I had a fish sandwich that was served open face on a foot long hoagie style bun. the one piece of fish was big enough to feed 3 people but I forced it down.
