Congrats Nick. There were many more pictures taken of the last stop of the relay. I'm sure they will be posted as soon as everyone gets home and has some time. The top was really something to see on the car in person, it made the Ice Blue pop.

I got it. Two months and twelve days after this thread started it is now part of my car. Thank you Pat for getting the top to John Sunday morning. I hope you, your son Brian and John enjoyed the exchange. I stayed an extra night on Long Island and returned to Massachusetts today. I can't thank everyone enough for doing this. I thought about getting the top shipped but the relay took on a life of its own so quickly that it just seemed like the right thing to do. And now that it has ended I am positive that it was the right thing to do. Each and every participant, please make sure If you haven't sent me your mailing address please do so soon. I am putting a little something together to help us remember this event and I want to make sure you all get one.
Thank's to the dreaded Yankees game ending just before John left New Jersey he was in stop and go traffic and his estimated arrival was considerably delayed. So after the show ended we went a couple of miles down the road to a shaded park to get out of the sweltering heat. Dino and Sue, Chuck, Roger and Terri stayed as long as they could but had to leave at 4:00 to catch the ferry they had reservations on. John and Deb the Bling King and Queen, JRM John and Diane, and Wes stayed on until John 3rd Brd arrived looking quite spiffy in his Tuxedoed 04. Here are some pictures we snapped of the occasion. Gonna take five posts to get them in so bear with me.
      1. Shortly after John arrived. Wes up close looking on, Johnny Gumball/Bling King and his wife Deb.
      2. John 3rd Brd and I figuring out how we're going to do this and Wes being amused by the whole thing.
      3. John signing the card and logging in the miles he traveled.

            1. OK time to lock it down.
            2. This one doesn't want to go in?
            3. "Nick, don't push it down, lift it up just a little and it will go right in" And it did!!!

Nick, what an adventure! Over 300 posts and over 7200 views of the thread - must be some kind of record.

The Whisper White top goes very well with the white accent interior.

Did you get a total of the miles folks logged on the poster? Perhaps you can post a close-up picture of the poster so we can see the names and miles on it. By the way, did the Greetings from Oklahoma card make it all the way?

                  Nick:
This was a great adventure in itself and I looked forward to the daily posts, as they occurred. I guess I'll have to watch the next rally.
That top looks exceptionally nice on your Ice Blue, Congratulations!!

Ya know what we all forgot about? JRM John caught the ear of a reporter for the Saturday Evening Post? - Not sure of the name of the paper. They interviewed Nicky about this relay. The interview along with interviews of all the TBN members that were at the show is supposed to be on some web site - god getting old stinks, I can't remember a thing.

You bet the Greetings from Oklahoma card made it. And it will be archived in my relay package.
With that top the White Accent interior pops when you open the door.
John has to get back to me with his final mileage to put on the car. Then I will snap a few and post the card on here.
I don't know if the thread is a record but it has to be close if it isn't. It probably hasn't ended either because I'm sure there will be views of the final pictures and then there is that web news guy Chuck is talking about. He learned about the relay from JRM John who was at the show and interviewed me about it. If that does go on line I will post that on here also.

The reporter that interviewed Nick was from Newsday with the "wheels section" and he would post the video at newsday.com

I have been checking but nothing yet. If I see it I will post it.

Is the top Whisper White or Performance White? I thought all tops in white are Performance White

It's whisper white, Fritz...Performance white is the color if you ordered a white top, whisper white is the matching top for a whisper white car.

I've got the performance white top and if you don't have the 2 together you really don't see much of a difference

Thanks Brad, never knew you could order it in Whisper white also. Always thought white tops were slightly lighter than the cars itself.
