Just add a little white, Sally, and it would look very patriotic!

Good idea, Dot. Maybe I can find a cashmere hood and trunk for the trip...

Joe, you don't mind waiting until after the 4th of July, do you?
Do you know the difference between education and experience?
Education is when you read the fine print; experience is what you get when you don't.

Larry I am putting the red top on a VMG. I told Joe I may have to wear a disguise. Perhaps a long beard and sunglasses like ZZ Top. I just wish it was Christmas time, easier to explain the red and green combo.
        WHATS THE WORD? THUNDERBIRD !!!

              Joe,

You need to provide a camera at the beginning of this relay and take pics of each exchange. Relays are a big part of TBN and will make great articles when the newsletter starts up again.

Joe made me an offer I couldn't refuse.......

Don't know when my schedule will allow me to leave, but I'll keep you posted.

Checked my registration today. It says Thunderbird Convertible! I never noticed that before. Does that mean the hard top isn't covered? Think I'll call my agent in the morning.

                  Thank You, Barbara ....

Then we are set: Art has graciously agreed to pick it up and deliver it to Gene. Gene has generously offered to store the top until Barbara finalizes her plans over the next few weeks!

Sounds, Like we have a plan!

THANK YOU to all of you who offered to help: Elle, Larry, Steve, and Phil. I very much appreciate your offers to assist. And, Art, Gene and Barbara I can't thank you enough for helping me.

No thanks needed, Joe. We're all part of the TBN family, and family helps each other out when they can. I look forward to meeting Art & Barb.

Would have been happy to help...

Just a note... The hardtop may need minor adjustments as it moves from car to car in order to get the front bolts to engage properly - wouldn't want them to get stripped. See the thread here or do a search for "hardtop adjustment":

Caveat: Might want to get Joe's permission first!

I remember a Gnome was involved in earlyer relays. Put on the top and then take a shot.

WOW! Good for you Joe. That was easy. I am very close to getting my dots connected also.

Don't worry about this, Joe. I'm sure a little duct tape will hold it to Barb's windshield long enough to get to NC.

Well after a week's delay waiting for that PayPal e-check clearance we are moving forward again ...

Don't use e-check if you are not prepared for a 4-6 day delay. The only upside is the seller saves a lot of money in PayPal fees (approximately $65 in this case).

Art has the seller's number to arrange pick-up and I asked him to take a few pics if possible. Let the fun begin!
