I think we need a mascot for the journey as well. Any ideas?
Keep in mind, I'll have luggage...and an '02 boot, which doesn't fold very well.

Well, the first phase is complete, I picked up Joes Hardtop from the seller actually North Haledon, NJ not Garfield , and brought it to Cresskill. I am to meet Gene tommorow in New Brunswick at 2pm for the transfer. Some color combo. Ought to be a big hit on NJ Turnpike tommorow. Certainly got looks on this one, can't see it from inside though. You owe me Joe, just kidding, glad to do it.

It doesn't look as bad as I thought it would.....the red tail lights kinda tie it all together lol.

I am with SweetT on this one ... ... It is not as bad as I thought but it looks like mint sherbet with cherry filling on top! I can't blame you if you wear a bag over your head down the NJ Turnpike or a ski mask.

Joe maybe I'll go with the first one, " the unknown retro driver, scourge of the Jersey Turnpike" Gene do you want the ski mask or do you want me to hand off the paper bag? Barbara, I never thought a red car would blend in, but you will be relatively invisible with Joe's hardtop.

Well Joe, its almost home. I just passed it off to Gene about 90 minutes ago. It was a pleasure to meet him, a real gentleman, and I hope to see him at the North Jersey Thunderbird show on June 14th. It didn't look to bad on Gene's car in my opinion. But we'll have to wait to see what he says. I can now make eye contact with other drivers.

WOW ... You are right, Elle. It looks like the 007 Halle drove in the movie with the coral top. I really like it!

I think the light was playing some tricks. It's definitely red. Believe it or not I actually got a compliment on it on the way home. I'll take some more pictures later.
