Well, the first phase is complete, I picked up Joes Hardtop from the seller actually North Haledon, NJ not Garfield , and brought it to Cresskill. I am to meet Gene tommorow in New Brunswick at 2pm for the transfer. Some color combo. Ought to be a big hit on NJ Turnpike tommorow. Certainly got looks on this one, can't see it from inside though. You owe me Joe, just kidding, glad to do it.
LOL, that looks great Art. Thanks for posting pics.

Y'all are going to think I'm nuts (OK, I am), but late last night I switched the red top off my 1:18 and put it on my 1:18 007 just to see...v-e-r-y interesting!!!

Do you still have Joe's top on or have you stored it?
Sweet T should be up and running within a week, I'll know for sure tomorrow, but it looks like I'm headed for the state of Washington 6/2.
I really can't see me getting to NC until July. I'm thinking I might be able to take a weekend in June to NJ to pick up the top...... then back to Boston.....and then directly to NC in July.
Barb...I took it off this evening. As for picking up the top, I don't have any big travels planned so whatever works for you. Are you having problems with your car?
Having problems scheduling service. Dealership can't take me until 6/2, and I won't be around. Oil in one of my COP wells.
Someone just put me in touch with a Lincoln mechanic who does work on the side. Trying to see if he can do it this week. I feel better about him doing it as I can have aftermarket COP's installed which seem to last longer the the dealer ones. Plus he'll do all the additional steps I've learned here that I'm sure the dealership wouldn't do. I'm just going to have my 100,000 mile tuneup now at 70,000. The jaunt to NJ should be enough to see if I encounter any further problems. If I have ONE COP problem after this, the car's gone.
