Miss you too Nicky. This will be the first time in recent memory we haven't spent our birthdays together. In the event I don't have internet access, Happy Birthday buddy! Love ya!

90 degrees? Hit 101 here today. Never in my life have I been so happy to see rain! It was beautiful.....the temp dropped 20 degrees in 10 minutes. Scout isn't faring any better in this heat......guess we both prefer the ocean breezes. Whenever we get back here, I can assure you, it will be in the dead of winter lol.

It was great to meet Gene, his lovely daughter and handsome sweet grandson.

Not once did it occur to me, that the hardtop relay would include the stand, boot and cover. How Gene fit it all in my car, with my suitcase, travel bag, 'puter and dog gear, I'll never know.....he's the master at packing a TBird trunk.

The Route 295 tip was great, Gene. I made it all the way to Virginia before pulling off for the night. You're better than GPS.

Joe....you're a doll! I know you went miles out of your way to get me to the quickest route to Charlotte without traffic. GPS sure has it's shortcomings. To see Money Penny was an unexpected surprise. Two 007's in two days....how lucky can one girl get?!

Both my sons are extremely health conscious......red meat is a no-no.....so you can imagine my surprise when I arrived as my Brendon was putting a thick juicy steak on the barbi for his mom.

George, thanks for the wishes and Happy Belated Birthday to you as well.

Joe, glad to see you got your hardtop. Sweet one isn't it. Barb good work on the relay. Joe it looks a hell of a lot better on your black than it did on my VMG. Congrats.

            Thanks, Art.

I would have had to spend a fortune on shipping if it wasn't for you, Gene and Barbara.

I thank each of you VERY MUCH.

Thanks Gene. Happy Belated Birthday to Mrs. 007.

I decided to head back through the Blue Ridge Mountains. Left my son's at 7:30 this morning, drove 14 hours, topless (Yippee!).....and I'm still in Virginia lol.

Joe, you're going to have to come to Boston to buy me that dinner...err...supper!

                  Absotootly!

Wes still has some great events planned. Besides.....it's a lot less humid in MA lol.

Finally arrived home late last night. 2149.9 smiles, round trip. Sixteen hours for pick up, delivery and final destination......three days to come home lol.

Got surrounded by a herd of deer, (obviously never saw a Tbird before.....or a Min Pin....and not afraid of either), and saw two black bears as I passed through the Blue Ridge Mountains. As I entered MA, I was greeted by a huge Rainbow over the Berkshires.

I had a blast and got to meet two of the nicest TBird people.

Thanks Joe for making this happen.....I probably would still be procrastinating about the trip South.

Sounds like you had a great trip back home. You wouldn't have seen all that from an airplane.
