Many thanks for this info, Cliff. I recently purchased my T-bird, and knowing that Texas requires a front plate, I sure hated to drill any holes. I'll try your method; thanks again.

i put mine on the dashboard in the center with a small towel behind it to hold it close to
the windshield.
