After much investigation, I've found that a 94-04 Camaro Windstop can be modified to the retro bird. Found the Camaro Windstop for $99 on ebay.
Let me know what you think of the pics.
Best Regards,
One more pic. It works great !
I just didn't like the plexi, always getting reflections, had to clean, and blocked too much air.
I'd be more than happy to give mod instructions.
Enjoy.
OK Werner spill the beans .Give us the instructions ,I also don't care for the plastic one.I have it sitting in my trunk wrapped up in a towel.Used it twice and it's not convent to install.
Looks great. I wasn't even going to consider a plexiglass one, just plain ugly, worse than the air. The air dosn't really bother me, some of my passengers have issues. I would consider one like you have done.
I found 2 on ebay
ORIS Windstop for the Firebird and Camaro .................. is this the one and yes please post the modification instructions
Next question, once it is modified will it fold down (flat) as it is designed to do ?
Description says it is german made
to me it looks a lot like the windscreens on the 550sl Mercedes
If I can get the instructions to modify this I want one especially if it can be modified to fold flat when not in use
Come on Werner help us out Post the info on the modifications PLEASE!!!!!
