  • A Bronze Bird on Ebay

I like to see what our Birds are selling for and I came across what I presume was an Executive Car like mine. It has less than 10,000 miles, has no hardtop, and is located in Texas. Mine was also a Top delete car with less than 10,000 miles. I may be wrong but the seller is asking $28,985. and the current bid is up to $24,000.
Just in case someone is lusting after an '05 like Ellie's.

A Premium 05 Black Bird with roof under 3k miles and in showroom condition just sold on Ebay for 28K. That's a pretty good indicator of where the high end price is on non-rare colors.

I came out of Home Depot yesterday and saw a guy standing around Goldilocks. I waited until there were other people around before approaching (I'm paranoid), but he was just admiring it and said he'd been looking around and "would you take $30,000 for it"? I simply said it's not for sale, but thanks for the reasonable offer!!! Didn't know about the post here at the time or I would have told him!

The '05 Bronze Bird on Ebay had a black soft top, no hardtop. It did have the Black & white interior which looked nice. And less than 10,000 miles is also good. And as much as I'd like another Tbird, after being married 40 years, I'd be in the garage with the cars if I tried to buy a second one. She gets her choice of cars and I get mine, one each.

Hey Dot, help me out here. When did the black interior come with white seat inserts. Or Should I ask, When did a partial white interior come with a black steering wheel and gear shift knob?

Don't know about the gearshift knob or the steering wheel, but the seats look like a very poorly done after-market job.

There's also an 05 on Ebay that is in San Jose, Cal. with only 341 miles on it and it's up to $30,000.00 with 17 bids and about 30 hours to go. The discription says it's White with White interior but I think it's Cashmere? It looks Gray. The owner bought the car when he retired, then had eye surgery and hasn't been able to drive it for 3 years.

Yes, that is a Cashmere. First - look at the grill. Second, "white" was not an option for 2005. Nice Bird!

The Cashmere 2005 on Ebay with 341 miles ended up going for $42,100.00 with 43 bids. Just goes to show you what a difference low miles and the Warranty have on the value of these cars. Don't let your Warranty expire.
