just 4 more weeks and i get my bird....I have 2 for ya..any comment on the after market stainless hard top strips..instead of the plastic ones that came with th 04..the top has only been on this bird once , the day it was delivered... #2 adding an aux jack for a mp3 player to the fac unit...thanks for any help

If you're talking about the stainless strips that go under the hard top, I have those and I love them. The top squeaked quite a bit when I first bought mine (second hand) bringing it home. Hubby put the strips on and not one squeak!

I purchased the stainless steel strips from QAA. They do a great job of reducing top noise and protecting the contact surface. However, the strips will move a bit as the top shifts while on the car. I have replaced the riders side strip twice becaus the strip has moved and displaced the adhesive. Regardless, they are the best option to fix this problem.
