Re: Inflation Nitrogen in tires ?
Hi there,
Well, air seems to work pretty good for me. It always makes the tire nice and round and compared to most things nowadays, it's almost free!
I can see if our birds were racing cars, nitrogen might be worth the difference but really?
What surprises me is the number of people who still drink fizzy water from cans that have Bud Light written on the side.
Each to their own I guess.
Gordon.

$195 is TOO MUCH. But dealers always are. Why would you take your bird to Chrysler anyway, unless your friend will get if for you for nothing? If you are going to get it, find a local mechanic you trust and get it from him
My mechanic put nitrogen in our bird last year for about $30. I wouldn't say the performance is any better or any worse. The tire pressure probably stays more consistent, but then again, we don't drive it that hard & long anyway.
The cool green valve caps are a nice touch though.

Re: Inflation Nitrogen in tires ?
I did the four 3 years ago for $24 total at a performance shop. Bell Tire did my spare last year for free. They also pump the four on the ground to 40 PSI every fall for storage for free.Vin 2462 / Seq 2296
