Will, plenty of photos in the Gallery. Click on the link at the top of the page.

Alos, my Original 02 Evening Black has her interior, sporting the Burlwood, featured on the TBC site.

        Hi there,

I was just wondering what a 'Piano Black' finish is compared to say a 'full black accent' which my 2003 Evening Black came with.

        Thanks, Gordon.

Actually VaBird I spent about some time in the gallery and didn't run across any dash kit pics...I'm sure they are in there, but if you don't know who has one it's gonna take a LONG time to find them...the only search in the gallery is by member name and when you do a general search you get some great pictures of the tin foil dash kit!

Brad, insert Dash Kits into the search menu, you will find several pages of threads on the subject. I found 3 owners and pictures of dash kits just by clicking on the threads, there are many members here with dash kits, just look at all the various threads.

The Piano Black, is a High Gloss Black. Aaron at TBC could get you a sample. I think I would look awesome in a Full Black Accented Interior. On the ROUSHperformance site, you can see one in a Black Mustang. Just look up "BlackJack" when there.

And, Brad. No pickin' on the "Original" Dash Kit. If DavidA, only knew then, what a smash hit it would turn out to be.....

Apparently the topic of "Dash Kits" is up there with politics and religion...sorry that I agreed that it would be nice to see some pictures.

LOL Dave...I wasn't picking...The tinfoil dash was and is a timeless classic

                  Here ya go, Brad:

These all came from just one thread. There are surely many more shots posted. If you know for certain that someone has a dash kit, click on the little camera by their avatar and there will probably be photos in their personal gallery. Hope this helps.

                    Re: Dash Kits

                    Hi there,

What ever lights your candle I guess.

Looking through the collection above, I can't see one that to me is an improvement on what the car came with.

The 'woody' effect seems way over the top and completly out of character with the car.

The funny metallic finish looks like it's trying to be too modern, alla Starship Enterprise.

The original design is calm and clean to look at. These fancy finishes just seem to make the whole appearence way too busy and fidgety.

Like I said, just my opinion and we can all do whatever we want with our own cars, - no problems.

                    Gordon.

                        Ed,
Well since you are asking. Don't do it. You have a beautiful match with the sand color on the rest of the interior. I almost bought a used silver TBird with the sand interior, and the major plus it had was the bronze centerstack trim.

Dang it. I got to agree with you Claude. As hard as it may seem. On our Merlot/Sand, I only put a couple of pieces on it. I've been searching my photos for one of the interior, but have come up empty so far. I did put the two piece shifter bezel on it though arround the Select Shift, the Vents, and the doors.

                            All,

Where do you find the aluminum center stack kit and what is the cost?

                            Thanks,

                              Jim,

If you see one you like in post #53, I would contact the member and see where he/she got it. Thunderbirdconcepts.com claims they have a match with the factory trim in a dash kit called "urban metal". Price (sale) is $269.95. You might also go to: powersportcars.com as they claim to also have matching trim for the different model years. The way I understand it the pattern on the silver/aluminum trim was slightly different each model year so it is not easy to match what came from the factory.

Does anyone produce the dash kit in the Bronze Metal? I have the bronze center stack and trim and think it's really nice...adds a sporty elegant look. Eventhough I bought the wood dash kit I would really like to just have a little more bronze on the armrest.
