Ok...I need some help to determine if what happens is normal.....when you are sitting with the car running and in park, or in drive...if you sit, apply constant, firm pressure to the brake pedal, and hold it in the brake continues to depress. If you pump the brake pedal, the brake pedal rises. If you apply the pressure again, and hold the brake pedal down, it continues to depress....not all the way down, but down enough that it can be pumped back up.
I took the car to the dealer...they said they replaced some part to do with the ABS system and could not change what the pedal does. They said they contacted Ford and were told it was normal....it does NOT seem normal to me....
Mine is a 2002....I do not remember this happening before and have never experienced this with another car unless there was a leak or a problem with the master cylinder.....
Anyone with ideas here???
