Ever since the first time I saw the picture of the set that Ertl had done for Ford, I've wanted to do this. So, I finally got around to it...what do you think??

Looks good to me, Dino. I don't think I have 5 of them to do it with myself (nor the time to do it).

Nice job Dino. I had a few of thoseTiffany T-Birds but I gave away or sold them to other Thunderbird enthusiasts. I just have one red one in the package now. I haven't seen any on eBay in a while either.

Dino - you have an amazing talent, I can't draw a straight line with a T Square let alone paint something so perfectly - they look excellent!!

They look great Dino. Did you take these apart or did you paint them while being in 1 piece?

Watch out, Dino. You know which one Spence will pick up to "play" with and you might not ever see it again.

                        Frits,
I took them apart, stripped them to bare metal then primed and topcoated in the new colors. The hardest part was painting the "eyes" to make them look like they originally did.

                              Frits,
I'm using spray. Someone on this site listed a supplier of OEM factory finishes available in 12 oz aerosol cans. The colors are a perfect match! I'm in the process of doing a Light Ice Blue 1/18th scale for Nicky-the-Squid and will be working on a Mustang for Joe Moore.
