There are many days in December and yes, even January when one has a top down afternoon. Lovin' it more every year! Cal
June through Mid October in Phoenix is hardtop weather...period.

My apologies to the hard top owners, I didn't mean to be so controversial. I do leave my Sand colored top up most of the time in the summer, the A/C doesn't cool you much in Charleston with the top down. The soft top is lined and very quiet, i.e. no rattles. When it's a little cloudy or on a summer evening, top down riding is fine. It just depends on the heat and humidity whether I lower the top. I love the look of the hard tops, esp. the ones that contrast with the lower body color. I've seen the Black w/merlot hard top. The Inca w/white hard top and a 007 w/white hard top and a Black w/bronze hard top and they look awesome! I was just rationalizing, I guess, because my car "Annie" came sans hard top.

          Calvin,
I also have an '05 Evening Black/Sand T-bird. I like your attitude about the soft top flexibility; however, my hardtop stays on most of the time during the summer. The heat, humidity, & POLLUTION during tha summer in the Houston area make driving with the top down downright unpleasant even at night.
