Hello Everyone

I just dropped off the T-Bird for repair. On July 4th mu drunk neighbors burned my top with fireworks. I'm taking it to a place in Columbia ILL, my insurance is paying for it except for the $100 deductible. It can always of been worse???? Take care...I should of went to Branson with you guys instead.

The insurance company may pursue reimbursemnet for ALL the damage from the neighbor and would refund the deductible if they are successful.

ILLBIRD, Just curious as to who you took your car to to have the top replaced, Ford Dealer or independent shop. Please keep us posted on the replacement and the costs. I looked at a Merlot T-Bird that had a Sand colored top that had black stains on it. I told the dealer I would buy the car if he replaced the top. He told me he couldn't do it becuase it would cost too much. I'm wondering if they can just replace the outside cover or if they have to remove everything off the frame and reinstall everything new? OMG, I would have had a calf! My neighbor would have paid for or small claims court here we come. I can't believe they wouldn't offer. But to be honest, my bird wouldn't have been out in the line of fire. Good luck getting it fixed and getting the neighbor to pay for it!
