Anyone else wished to change out the factory cigarette lighter? One option I have been looking for is an aftermarket unit with some type of Tbird emblem or engraving. I swapped the one in my Mustang for a nice one with the horse done in chrome. I have come up empty on a search for something similar for the Tbird. Now I'm thinking about a BMW unit. The exposed portion of the BMW unit is close in size and shape to the plug cover opposite of the lighter. This would create a more symmetrical appearance. I recently tested a dummy plug from my brother's Z3 and it seemed to fit well and look good. Anyone know of a good source for BMW parts or have any other suggestions for alternates.

I got this eject in silver satin well made and two o-rings hold it in the hole.

Thanks. I just ordered the red EJECT one. Apropriate since my license plate has 007 on it.

Picked up the BMW dummy lighter plug from an area dealer. Cost a whopping $4.43 . Part number listed on invoice is 51-16-8-222-183. I did not ask to check for others to consider. Here's a before pic followed by the more symmetrically balanced results...
