    Re: Texas Friends !!

    Cliff & Don,

Just do it! Don & Mary Ellen took the plunge and came to Ozark Thunder so they surely know how much fun events are to attend. Cliff & Bonnie may as well learn how great they are too. Caravaning is at least half the fun.

Plan to join in with our group that is coming from north Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Tennesee! We'll be spending the nights of October 29th in Albuquerque and October 30 at the Thunderbird Lodge at the entrance to Zion National Park in southern Utah. It will be a great trip.

It would be great to see Don & Mary Ellen again and equally nice to meet Cliff & Bonnie.

Paul, you sure make LV and caravaning seem like the fun experience we would enjoy. I would love to revisit Zion NP - I'm a retired nature/wildlife jphotographer.

Bonnie & I just discussed the possibility of this trip; it was on my calander as a possibility. I'm sorry to say it will just not be possible this year. I lost my father recently and I must travel to the east coast to settle the estate and I have a date with the probate court. Our son is getting married in CO shortly after LV date and of course we will be traveling there for that.

We are disappointed but there is just no way this year. We just bought the T-Bird in Apr. and have been looking forward to attending a TBN event and meeting everyone. Hopefully, we will be able to travel more in '09. Our daughter lives in Ft. Worth and we would like to plan a trip to visit her when there is a gathering in that area. They seem to have a lot of interest there - much more than we have here in So. TX.

Cliff, just let us know when you're coming, and we'll get a dinner group together. I just found out that Fred is in the area this week, and immediately made a Dinner post.

As for a lack of Thunderbird activity in your area, I've talked with several of members who would love to get together. Just start a thread, like JohnnyTBird did...area members will respond.
