In a day's travel in Texas this week, we saw premium from $4.35 all the way down to $3.35 - very inconsistent. While looking for premium gas on the west side of the metroplex yesterday, we saw it vary between $3.85 to $3.34. geesh, Sally - no one has a gas war going on over on this side of town that we've seen. The highest prices seemed to be at the Fina gas stations.
Regular Unleaded is $2.73 (with ETOH - 5 cents higher without) and the lowest I've seen Premium is $3.01 here in little ol' Tahlequah, OK.
Sally, did you mean $2.85/gallon? $1.85 seems unbelievable even with a "war".

YA HOO - Regular gas dropped below $3.00 in Utah for the first time since Feb. I just filled up the Explorer for $2.96/gal. The Tbird is also full - premium was $3.27. They still can't explain why Utah is the 4th highest gas price in the nation. For six months now the Governor was supposed to be looking into price gouging - hmmm doesn't take a rocket scientist.
Need to get the other SUV filled up as well, who knows what will happen again with prices once OPEC decides to cut production. I think their meeting is tomorrow.
