Re: T-Bird Trunk Rack
The photos in the newsletter are the exact photos from a company called Surco, they currently make that rack for Miata, BMW Z3, Porsche Boxter. They are sold through many auto assessories sites for prices ranging from $184.00 to $249.00, based on the rack for Miata / Boxter. I'll be curious to see the price ranges when they add the Thunderbird to the list. All the customer evaluations on the ones sold are positive in regards to look, quality and ease of installation and removal. I hope Aarons price is reasonable, I like to support those that support the Thunderbird. But a $70.00 +/- price difference, for the same product, same manufactor, I have to follow the best price. I think I'll definately be getting one when they are available, I travel alot in my T'Bird. Get a nice waterproof cargo bag or cargo box, lockable, to pack bags in or be available to pack directly into, and it can make travel on longer trips much easier.
