  • Santa Rosa Valley, CA Car Show - August 3, 2008

Just thought I would share a few pictures with you all. These are pictures of a yellow 1955 t-bird!! Cutest thing ever! Even has the same interior as mine! Black & White. The lady who owns the car is Thelma - just so cute. When she left the car show she had her little halter top on and visor puttin' off in the Ol' Bird! Which by the way is their license plate (see pic). This is where I got my idea for my license plate. Too bad we couldn't have parked next to each other at the show, I saved a space for her! But she ended up getting there late and there was no way for her to get her car next to mine! So I was kind of bummed. Maybe next year! Well, enjoy the pics! :)

P.S. The color of the 1955 reminds me of the Inca Gold, do you think this is where they got the idea for it?

custom paint on that 55 but it is cute.

inca gold for 05 just used the Inca Gold NAME used in 1957 on the Ford line including the Thunderbird. it is it's own color for 05.

Will do. This was actually my first car show that I actually participated in. Paid $20 registration fee and of course had nothing up against any of the other classic cars but hey, it was worth a try - even the 1955 t-bird didn't win a prize so hell if I did! I was next to 2 newer corvettes on the left of me (BOOO!!! LOL!) and on the right was a 1950 Hudson Commodore, awesome car! So he won one of the top 10 trophies but he deserved it! I was hoping for one but no such luck....maybe in about 30 years!!! When I'm one of the few ice blue's left! It was just fun to see people walk by and look...no one really made any comments to me directly, just looked. Personally I get a bigger kick out of the comments I get from people when I'm out places - and it's FREE! LOL. But it was fun nonetheless!!!
