  • Thunderbird Vinyl Decal

Sorry in advance if I have created another thread about something already discussed elsewhere in this fabulous forum. But I am looking for a nice vinyl version of our hood and trunk wing emblems, and want the TBird blue colour prominent in the decal. I checked the TBird Emporium web-site, but that still says their decals are out of stock. I have contacted a couple of companies up here in Ottawa, but no luck as of yet. I know someone out there can help. Looking forward to the advice, and thanks in advance.

Mark, look at Thunderbird concepts. They might have what you are looking for.

I am sorry they have been discontinued.

Thanks, and I checked their web-site. What I would like to have is a vinyl stick-on replica of the emblem that is shown on the Thunderbird concepts web-site... actually, courtesy of ebay, I am collecting a few of the actual emblems, but I would like vinyl versions for a car show sign and other nick-nacks. I am sure that even an auto pin striping company would design one for me, but so far, I can't generate any interest in this idea up here in Ottawa.... come to think of it, my retro bird is one of only a scarce few in this entire region....... thanks for your help....

For a sign, you can pickup the hood/trunk emblems for our T-Birds off of eBay for $16.99 to $18.99.

There's also some smaller Thunderbird wings in the TBN store:

Maybe one of those items will work for you.

02bluebird, Ebay Item No. 330259223819 are a pair of T-Bird Emlems for the Port Hole glass on the hard tops like on the Nieman Marcus edition cars had. I don't see any color in them though, but you might contact the seller. I'm thinking of getting a set for my MSG top. Leroy

That's a great idea Charlie.... ironically I just bought another couple of his terrific TBird bags on ebay (consider this a plug because he sells great stuff), and I never even thought to ask him. cheers.

thanks for the suggestion, Leroy. I already purchased a set, but they are meant for the portholes, and I am looking for a larger vinyl decal. You will be very pleased with the purchase - they truly have that "etched" look in the window. Follow the instructions to a "T", take your time and you will have splendid results.
