Re: Galpin Pink 2002
Hi Guys .
As the proud owner of the other pink thunderbird produced by galpin I am surprised to see the "mary kay " and other "pepto bismol " comments .
Some of you apparently appreciate this color scheme .That's good .
They produced just two of these pink cars based on the 57 TBird color .These cars were originally all black and galpin stripped them down , repainted them and reassembled the whole thing while having the interior redone .
The overall quality of work is factory quality and maybe even better .
They charged 70.000 dollars for those when new .
According to the manager of GAS they did two like these, maybe three , he is not entirely sure about the third one in pink since they made also the mint ones .
Mine is the 2003 so the second model .
TO the hardcore "macho" this car grabs a lot of attention and compliment from the ladies and is a great introduction to conversation as a starter.
So no worries for your manhood .
People that have known the originals pink ones in their time immediately relate to this car and tell me stories I wouldn't know otherwise .
If I could afford it , I would buy this 2002 T_Bird immediately .It's the best color to reveal its beauty .I went to Bob's big boy a couple month ago in burbank at the friday evening gathering and a 1956 corral sand was there .It was simply stealing the show and the crowd was all around it ..
SO if someone hesitates and would love to buy this 2002 , just go for it .You won't regret it as you'll have the most fantastic original american car produced in decades .
I know the others are looking good too.... just not as good :)
