Last week we were able to finally get out of town for a couple of days. The Cherohala Skyway drive from Tellico Plains, TN, to Robbinsville, NC, is a great drive. We spent the night at Fontana Village and then took RT 74 over to the Blue Ridge Parkway and drove a little of it to 276 and down to Brevard, NC. A very nice drive for any of you close to that area. It took the Bird over 5K on the odometer but worth it. I also passed a red T-Bird at a light in Brevard and got a great wave in response to my honking. Last Thursday morning if it was any of you. I know the red ones are the fastest so it had to be when it was sitting still.

Some of us beg to differ with you... Black is the fastest.
Sounds like a great trip. Another great trip is the Skyline Drive from Tallihina, Oklahoma to Mena, Arkansas, if you ever get the chance to come this way.

The Cherohala is a terrifig ride. We used to do it on the Motorcycle. There is a nice restaurant on the west side in Tellico Plains at the very end of the skyway. This road is a must for anyone in the area.Unbelivable TBN trips including ALL of the lower 48 States plus 9
