To boost the economy in our area and bring in new business, large tax incentives are being offered. It seems that Hollywood has caught wind of this and have started filming a few movies in the Detroit area. The latest word is that Warner Brothers have visited the Wixom Plant twice in the last few months with thoughts of making the old Tbird plant into a production area. Maybe there is some life in the old plant after all.

Re: Wixom goes Hollywood
CARS is my favorite movie. Only movie that I walked out of and said that I couldn't wait for the DVD to come out. Jeanette bought it for me the day it came out and I have almost worn it out from putting it in and out of the DVD player. Just something about the movie I really enjoy. I have to shoot a wedding tomorrow and think I will watch the movie as I check out all my gear for tomorrow.

Re: Wixom goes Hollywood
Steve...my 2 grandsons (4 & 18 mos) LOVE that movie...everytime they cover over, it's the first thing they want to see...their whole bedroom is McQueen, Mater & Doc.
...I personally own over 60 of the various 'cars' from that movie...up on shelves in my office...my grandsons just love going in there and looking at all of them (still in the boxes).

Re: Wixom goes Hollywood
Jim,
I have just about every CARS that has been made. BUT the truth is, I can not find any of the CARS in my local Walmart or Toys R Us. But I have a great friend, and fellow Thunderbird owner and TBN member who "fixes" me up with my CARS. I don't know what I would do with out him. I don't want to mention his name because he does such a great job for me and I would hate for him to have to do the same for others since they are so hard to find.
BUT BE AWARE, HE IS AN AWSOME GUY, A GREAT FRIEND AND THE BEST "CARS" HUNTER I HAVE EVER KNOWN.
