    Re: TOO MUCH STUFF

If buying that much i leave the bird at home and take the Sebring Convert.

It's amazing what i can bring home in that with the top down. Better than a pickup truck!

I like to go shopping with my wife in the Bird, can't fit much stuff. It's when we take the Expedition that I cringe.

My other car is a Sebring Convertible too! I have gotten a TON of things in the Sebring with the top down, more than most people with full size cars! That's the car I take shopping, since it's 10 years old and already has dings in the door, taking the T-Bird is just too risky with all those small "full size" spaces.

I used to own a 1996 Pontiac Firebird convertible. My wife and I would jokingly refer to it as the "Firebird aka pickup truck".

I once brought home a 30 gallon water heater, and a large passenger in a '66 Bonneville convertible

How in the heck did you ever get it into a shopping cart, in order to transfer it into those two large SUV's????

That's a great idea. I didn't think we do that and everything be O.K. when she got home? Man, I have some things to learn.

My Sebring is also the same color as the t-bird, so sometimes when i show up at work and at other places with people i know they mistake the sebring for the bird and ask why am i hauling stuff in the t-bird!
