Need help changing battery has any one done it?

How hard is it to do. The vent hose is it hard to get to and does it come
out when you take the battery out or is it attached to the car?And what tools are required.

It is easy to do, requires only one size tool (wrench or socket) and the vent is just a rubber hose that slips over a tube fitting.

Be carefull not to touch metal with the wrench while you have the wrench on the positive terminal...I remember when I've loosened the battery clamps I had to be extra carefull not to make contact.

(Yes I realize this is obvious, but I figure it doesn't hurt to mention)

A good practice to follow when removing or disconnecting a battery is to remove the negative clamp first to avoid shorting the positive to ground or the body with the wrench. When installing a battery, connect the positive first and the negative last.
