Changing meters to EU/CAN version

Have a question regarding the meters in the dash unit. Is it possible to change these from US version to EU/CAN version. This to have km over miles instead of the other way around.

Has anyone ever have this done, and if so is it a costy thing?

Probably simply requires changing out the speedo cluster with one from Canada. But then the control module.... is the CM for a car built for Canada different then one built for the US... do not know. Would suspect so however becasue of the odometer.

We do it all the time in Canada the cost is 600.00 dollars I work at a used car dealer Jeff

Thanks Jeff, that's the info I was looking for. Does it require special tools or can any technician do that? The reason I ask is I have a friend in Barcelona, Spain that want's his car converted that way.
