  • Would you like to caravan with Classic Birds? You Can!!

There is a Tour of Early Birds in progress across the States.
It's called 48in08. Here's the link to thier site.
Just click on " Schedule" (right column, near the bottom) to pull up thier itinerary.
    http://www.home.earthlink.net/~48in08/id16.html
TheTour started in the West, is crossing the Northern States to the East Coast, down the Eastern seaboard, and will turn West through the Southern States.

The particants don't mind if you join up with them along the way.
Click on "Contact Us". Someone will get back with you in about 24 hours.
If you're interested in thier overnight lodging arrangements, click on Hotels.

They will be in the Alanta area for about a day and a half for maintenance.

Some of our members have arranged photo opps, as the Tour passed through thier areas, some have just been surprised to see them on the road!

In addition to the meet-and-greet, can retro birds join the caravan as well, or is it restricted to classic birds?

According to their schedule they will be heading thru Dallas late morning on the 17th, Leaving Burnet NW of Austin at 7:00 and arrive OKC at 3:30. Any plans for a lunch or something as they pass thru Dallas?
