Went to the piece of farm land we have eariler to find the locks beat off of all the buildings. I immediately ran to the barn where the red hard top is stored expecting the worst. To my surprize it wasn't touched. It was under its cover and stored with several pieces of furniture. The only thing I can figure is they thought it was also a piece of furniture, it do kind of look like a dresser with a mirror when its covered. The pad locks were pried off with a crow bar and nothing was taken except for the locks, so there would be no finger prints maybe. The lights were kicked out of a utility trailer that was there as well. I believe they were looking for snowmobiles or a.t.v.'s because a few years ago there were alot of them stolen. I just hope they get what they deserve and I'm glad the hard top is still spotless.

Re: Close Call
Bummer Andrew. Hate it when people take others peoples stuff. Had three robberies in my company and can not get used to it. It makes me mad.Sometimes Birds travel far...

Re: Close Call
Some people will steal anything! Seem nothing is sacred anymore. The fact that more young people have drug habits, and they don't care what they have to steal to feed their habit. We have so many break and enters everywhere now and auto theft is on the rise. Always lock your car or truck and don't leave valuables in sight.
Glad you didn't have the T-bird parked in there otherwise it may have been missing or vandalized.
Take Care!
