  • Heated seat switches?

    Hi there,

First of all, this is not really a problem but something I'm just curious about. There are two switches for the heated seats, one shows the seat with one stripe which I'm guessin is the low setting. The second switch has about three stripes which I'm guessin is the high setting.

If this is the case, how does the the heater in the seats switch on and off. We were driving last weekend with the top down and my seat felt pretty warm and when I started to check, I could not figure out where the switch was.

I know this is probably covered in the manual but I'm at work right now and it was just nagging away so I thought I'd ask.

Thanks, if anyone can put me straight on this one, Gordon.

    Gordon,

Easy. You simply will press the button the same way you turn it on in order to turn it off. Thus, if you press the low setting, press the low setting again to turn it off. Same goes for the high setting. Hope this helps!

      Thanks Shanna for your answer.

I realize it was probably a pretty stupid question to begin with. So, the only way to know if it is 'on' or 'off' is to wait for it to warm up or cool down I guess. Why have two sepeate switches for low and high?

It's just that with it being black leather and warm weather, it's hard to tell sometimes if it's on or off. Is there not a light or something? It just seems a strange way to control the heated seats.

      Thanks again, Gordon.

As I can remember, when it is on, it will light up orange. I believe that when everything is lit up in your car like at night then they should just be green when off. When they are on they will be orange and green.
