in my on-going effort to display my ignorance and amuse and delight members of this forum I just have to ask what these things are.

I'm no gearhead. I just really like the way the new Birds look.

Borla is a catback exhaust system.
COP stand for Coil Over Plug.

Place either COP or Borla into the search engine at the top and you will find all the information you need to know about both. You might want to pay special attention to the COP threads.

Just type in a word or phrase and you'll have more than you need to answer your questions... In fact, try Borla and you'll be surprised at what you find.

It's simple John. The Borla's are related to fun, the COP's are not.

Tried the search and gots lots of threads but still wasn't sure what it (Borla) was. After Frits' post went to the Borla website - that's the sound I want. There's a dealer nearby too. Thanks all. My ignorameter just dropped a notch!

I put Borlas on my 2002 a couple of Months ago. Cost about $840.

It is absolutely true... the addition of a trunk mat, if installed correctly, will give you a huge performance edge.

My car is exactly opposite. Mine is much quicker when the trunk mat is removed.

Less weight, goes faster, makes sense to me.
