The Trunk Rack did not fit into the Trunk. Anyhow, that could of been a nice bonus if it did.

We are still producing them right now and none of them have been shipped yet.

FYI to all the other Tbirders that are reading this post that did not get our pre-order promotional offer; We are not taking orders for this new Tbird Trunk Rack yet, but should have it for sale around December or so to the general public.

Anybody out there ever get one of these racks? If so how about letting us know what you think of it and maybe some pictures. I'm particularly interested on how it installs and how sturdy it is. Leroy

No. My previous experiences with Aaron have all been good, but he's had our money for a very long time now, and it's beginning to wear on me. Last email from him was Dec 4, when he said he'd begin shipping "in a week or two".

Hi Joe. Phil has a lot of Quality items. And like Aaron, is a stand up guy, and backs everything he market's also.

BUT. The one you link'ed us to, is also in "Pre-production". And although it folds, it is a "generic" one. Not T-Bird specific. Big issue would be the tie down's in the photo on the site. Looks like straps from front to back, versus stabilized footings as Aarons has. Also the footings on Aaron,s are on pressure points that are already part of the trunk assembly, therefore no stress on the lid at all. Has anyone on the list gone to the trouble of putting on a trailer hitch for long and extended trips ? I see one occasionally listed on ebay that is supposed to be designed for the retro Bird. A small trailer similar to those used behind motorcycles would not be bad. Should not pull anything over a 1000 lbs.total.
