Hard Top Carrier from TBC

Just purchased the Hard Top Carrier from TBC and I'm not able to completely secure the strap around the top. Just to touch the two straps together, one of them needs to be about 1.5" longer. Does anyone happen to have their OEM cart empty and willing to measure the length of both straps for me? We measured the longest strap to be almost 87" by pulling the strap straight out from the cart and then measured from the supporting bar the strap is looped around to the end. The short strap is about 6" and that includes the buckle flat against the strap.

Not sure whom I'm emailing with at TBC but they have answered every email and the shipping was super freaking fast! We did purchase a few more products from TBC and are very pleased!

I've not been keeping up with you guys since around August 15th or so when the first storm hit the Gulf Coast and I have a lot of reading to do to catch up. Hope everyone has been well and my wife informs me we'll be seeing you in Arkansas very shortly!

I have an OEM 02 Cart. Both straps measure 62". I have mine set that one is at 52". So it sounds like your's together would be too short.

HOWEVER. Having just said that. The 04's and 05's did NOT come with straps. Unless you're going to be moving it around on the Cart, The straps are not necessary, as the Top's weight itself, keeps it tight againt the back support.

Thanks Dave, Alyssa from TBC is working to find a longer strap for us. We will need to move it around cause like you, living in the south; we only use the hard top during our 3to 5 weeks of winter.

You can also find those type of straps at Home Depot if TBC cannot find you one.
