Ed, I have one of those and it is a great keepsake. Always thought it would be kind of cool if that type of badge was made a bit bigger and able to mount somewhere on the dash as a special plaque. Where, I don't know, it's just nice to recognize the great '02 as car of the year.

It was meant to be a hat pin or lapel pin at the time.

I'm a little surprised at this..... from having a little knowledge of the Master Collector I would have sworn he had the actual vehicle that was used to determine it was the Car of the Year.
