A full set of Stainless automobiles (1936 Deluxe, T-Bird, and Continental) are on permanent display in the Crawford Auto Museum in Cleveland, Ohio.

I saw them on several visits to the Crawford.

Actually even saw them when I bartended for a caterer that did a wedding at the Museum.

Different but not really attractive. Like the DeLorian you would have to paint if it had any body work done.

If I remeber right, I think the 1957 Eldorado had a SS top. Leroy

Correct. The 1957 Cadillac Eldorado Brougham. Even cost more that the Biarritz Convertible.

My dad, age 81, is a retired Ford dealer in Jonesboro. 1929-1967 was the time our family had the business. He saw all of the stainless cars and the Mustang introduction in April 1964. We kept a few new Mustangs in the back yard before the official introduction.

I had a Shelby dealer packet because he wasn't interested. We have lots of 1933 V-8 brass coins and a Ford at Fifty book as well as 1/24 promotional cars.

Lots of unique vehicles were lost at the River Rouge fire years ago.

            Ol'Dave, I think that's a picture of a 1958 not a 1957. GM didn't put the double headlights on till 1958, If I remember right. Leroy

I just looked at another pic of a '57 and it had dual headlights.

Only the Eldoardo "Special Editions" bore the dual headlights in 57. They were Carried forward for all the 58 Caddy's.

The car you have pictured was built Oct.23, 1957 and titled as a 1958. It was no.2 of 304 built. See eldobrghm.com/history_details.htm Leroy
