Re: Starting after dead battery
Leroy: I believe you are correct on the security device but even with the new battery, I am not getting power. I can hok up to the jump start power supply and get power but still can not start even doing what you said?? It has me beating my head against the steering wheel! Thanks. Ed

Re: Starting after dead battery
First is the engine turning over and not starting??? If it is turning over check the fuel shut off pg.127 also look at pg.134 fuses.
One time a friend couldn't start his car no cranking. We tried to jump it still no crank.I looked inside at the shift lever it was in reverse not Park .He left the keys in the ignition when he backed into the garage and shut down in reverse.Put it in Park and started it .Of course I remind him of it.sigpic
